I would like to submit my work to JHR, what is the best way to do so?
Answer: The best way to submit your work is via e-mail to JHR@uconn.edu as a word document (no pdfs please). See our "submission guidelines" for more detailed information.
Will I recieve confirmation of of my submission?
Answer: Yes, you should recieve confirmation within 2-3 business days via e-mail. If you do not, it is a good idea to follow up on your submission.
Does JHR accept papers longer than 30 pages?
Answer: As a rule no. All authors are encouraged to keep the text of submissions to under 30 pages. However, in special instances exceptions are made.
How long does the review process typically take?
Answer: The average review time is 8-12 weeks from the time the article is accepted for review.
I recently had my work published in JHR, can I get additional copies?
Answer: In a word, yes. Corresponding authors will receive one complimentary issue and complimentary PDF file of their articles. They will have the option to order offprints or complete issues at the proofs stage.
